Our large team of Pet Care Professionals are at the heart of what we do. Get to know them a little better here.
I started as a Pet Care Assistant in 2011 before progressing to Pet Care Manager in 2019. My love for animals has sparked my passions of horse riding, enjoying the countryside and being a past owner of whippets, lurchers, and retired grey hounds. Currently I am the owner of 2 beautiful rats named Blossom and Daisy, and 2 cheeky rabbits called Percy and Peanut. This in turn has carried me through work-life ensuring all pets staying with us are receiving optimum care and attention.

I started at Home from Home at the beginning of 2020 and I have over 3 years experience in animal care. I am the proud owner of a very cheeky Patterpug and spend most of my time chasing him about.
I first stated with Home From Home Pet Care as a young worker at the age of 15 on a part-time position. I left after a few years to join the Army as a Radio Systems Operator in the Royal Corp of Signals, after 5 years I returned to Home from Home and was keen to take a dog training position. I have worked with dogs for over 15 years, 7 of which has being training and learning to understand their behaviour. I've built up a great deal of knowledge working with all breeds of dogs and cats, and through my years of training I've helped many hundreds of dogs and their family's have a closer relationship through our Dog Training Centre. I've helped Hessle Dog Rescue re-home many of their dogs by assisting with home checks, assessments and helped to train them before getting re-homed. I have a Labrador called Toby and two springer spaniels, Bracken and Darcy.

I first started at Home From Home Pet Care many years ago as a Pet Care Assistant. After leaving I went in to elderly care and set up my own dog walking business to the East of Hull. When a new position became available in dog grooming I couldn't wait to re-join as a Dog Grooming Assistant. I make sure all the dogs who come in for a groom have a great bath and blow dry before their styling by a groomer. I have a cat, do Yoga, keep a strict vegetarian diet and i'm a keen animal rights advocate.
I started at Home from Home Pet Care in June 2019. Just a few months after starting here as an Assistant Groomer I graduated from university with my Animal Management and Behaviour Degree. Due to this qualification I was able to progress within the business as a dog trainer.
In my spare time I continue to care for my own dogs. I have a Shih Tzu Bobby and two Cockapoo's Kenny and Phoebe, who often love joining me to work at Home from Home Pet care.
