Want successful training of your dog to be a social and happy member of your family? Initial enrolment to our dog training school covers all you need to know.
Before you and your dog can enjoy our dog training services, we’ll invite your dog to an initial meeting. During your dogs enrolment, one of our dog trainers will look into all aspects of your dogs daily routine and care at home. This will take 30 minutes and will be done through a short questionnaire. We’ll also look at the level of exercise and mental stimulation your dog currently receives. Your dogs diet will also be discussed, as diet can have a profound effect on behaviour. We will ask you what instruction your dog already understands, if any, and identify what areas need to be improved upon. A training plan will then be tailored to suit you and your dogs needs.
Obedience and Behaviour
We will also discuss issues you may have with your dogs obedience and behaviour. Understanding what you hope to achieve from training helps us get the best result for you. There is also an option to extend your dog training assessment to one hour. We will show you a range of techniques to get you and your dog started on the right track. Common behaviour problems such as mouthing and jumping up will be discussed, with an opportunity for you to ask any questions. The assessment will include a starter lesson to give you an idea of the training techniques before your first session.
All our training will be tailored to your individual needs. We’ll cover any particular instruction you’d like your dog to learn, which will give you the opportunity to start quickly.
We’re always available should you need us following enrolment of your dog at our dog training school. Our relationship with our dogs is always evolving through their lifetimes. When you need us, we are here to help with whatever life throws your dogs way.
